It wasn’t easy, I must tell you.
The journey of Stroke Recovery needs a lot of retraining of the Mental muscles.
On this day, last year, I was discharged from the hospital after an acute brain stroke.
Spent almost a week in the ICU, I had lost my vision and was unable to walk or lift things properly or even button or unbutton a Shirt.
It was a near to death or a lifetime bed bound situation as my doctor explains to me, luckily the doctor happens to be our very beloved Keyur Patel. His immediate intervention is the most important reason I am able to write you this.
Tonnes of prayers from family, beloveds, office colleagues and all you beautiful people is also the reason I shaped up the courage to be who I was.
Today, I can see good enough to drive and am ready to run a marathon this year. I can bet I will always stay undefeated in the game of patience and perseverance.
