To the victims of the heinous deed, to the Staff of Hospitals in Ahmedabad who served the Bomb Blast victims, to the Police Officers and the Youth who worked endlessly in serving the city in the most difficult times, to the Media Reporters who risked their lives in gathering and publishing information with a sense of responsibility, to every Amdavadi who donated blood and sweat on this day of crisis, My heart goes out to you. On this day, 10 years ago, just like every Amdavadi I was in a shock of what was happening to our city, we were shaken and disturbed from within, but what kept us alive was our spirit. Let me confess, I was afraid, afraid of another riot, afraid of Gujarat getting unstable again, but this time every Amdavadi, every Gujarati disregarding his caste, creed and religion had learnt from the past. We had become aware that we were always broken from the outside to polarise and fight within.
